  • How do I measure my dog for a martingale collar?

Finding the best fit for your dog in one of our martingale collars requires two measurements:

First, measure around the widest position of your dog’s head. So that the martingale can slip over the ears and onto the neck.

Next, use a soft measuring tape to find their neck size. It should sit where your dog typically wears their current collar.

  • How do I know if a headstall will fit my horse?

All of our headstalls and nosebands are designed to fit a wide variety of horses. If your horse typically fits into a full or a cob size, then they should have no issue with the sizing on our headstalls.

Unless otherwise stated, all headstalls and nosebands will designed to fit the majority of horse/cob sizes.

  • Is it safe to leave a collar on my dog?

Accidents happen and pets get lost, which is why it's advisable to keep your dog's collar on whenever possible, especially when you're walking him/her on a leash, moving households, or traveling. Still, there are times when it's perfectly acceptable (and safe) to remove your dog's collar like when he/she is in the house or inside their crate.

Please do not leave martingale or slip collars on your dog unattended. These styles are used for training purposes only and should not be left on your pet as an everyday collar.

  • How do I measure my dog for a buckle collar?

For the best fit, use a soft measuring tape at the same position where your dog currently wears their collar.
